Our 50 Year Class Reunion will be held at the Red Run Golf Club located at 2036 Rochester Road, Royal Oak, MI 48073. If you would like more information on the facility, you can visit their website at: Red Run Golf Club.

The Reunion will be from 6:00pm - 11:30pm

Attire:  Dress up or dress down, the choice is yours. Per Red Run Golf Club, absolutely no denim is permitted. Men must wear shirts with collars; jackets and/or ties are not required.

50-50 Raffle

50-50 Raffle

 

 

A 50-50 raffle will be held at the reunion, proceeds of which will sponsor one or two new seats for the Dondero Auditorium. Plans are currently underway to replace all of the auditorium seats which have been in the auditorium since the school opened in 1927. The cost for a new seat is approximately $200.

 

 

 

 

Photo Booth

Shutter BoothRemember the fun we had going into a photo booth at Kresge's Dime Store and having our pictures taken for $.25? We received a strip of 4 black & white pictures per quarter. Well, guess what? The Shutter Booth company will have a booth for us at the reunion! The booth will hold 1 - 10 people per photo shoot. The pictures will be in living color and each person in the booth will receive a 4-picture strip of the photos. Sounds like fun don't you think? There is no extra charge for this, as the cost is included in your ticket price. At the end of the evening, the Shutter Booth company will provide us with a CD Disc containing all pictures taken that evening. We could then "burn" copies of the disc and give them to anyone who requests one. There is no additional cost involved as that is part of the package we have purchased.

Doors to Dondero

 

Guided Tour of Dondero - Friday, July 30, 2010

The tour will begin at 4:00 pm Friday afternoon. Try to arrive between 3:30 - 4:00. The tour will last approximately 2 hours. Park in the main parking lot located at the corner of Willis and Washington. That parking lot should be able to handle all of the cars. If not, park in the lot behind the school.

Walk across the cross-walk from the parking lot and enter the main door facing Willis. You will be given a name tag to wear. Meet inside the school entrance by the Principal's office, near the auditorium. The tour will begin in the auditorium where you will see the recently restored murals. Your tour guide is Vince Caruso, brother of our classmate Gloria Caruso Pugh. ENJOY!

Social Gathering - Friday, July 30, 2010

Join us for an evening of fun, food and conversation the night before the reunion! We will have a gathering at Duggan's Irish Pub, on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 6:30pm. Duggan's is located on the west side of Woodward north of 13 Mile Road in Royal Oak. This casual evening will provide you the opportunity to reconnect with your high school classmates AND indulge in the Totem Pole's original Big Chief Burger or Pocahontas Special, among other delicious menu items.

Nothing tops off a reunion like a morning-after Breakfast! Join us at Jimi's Family Restaurant on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at 10:00am. They are located at 714 N. Washington, between 7th and Lincoln (one block west of Main Street), Royal Oak, MI 48067.
